Daphnes are a recent development at Ashwood and, as a result of our intensive propagation programme, we are now pleased to offer a much extended range of new and exciting varieties, many of which are rarely offered elsewhere. We are building up stock and many more varieties are in the pipeline, so we advise daphne enthusiasts to watch this space! As more varieties become available our list will be updated. Daphne is a captivating and diverse genus that is prized more than anything for the exquisite and unforgettable fragrance of its beautiful flowers. As many are repeat-flowering, a small collection of daphnes will provide you with a succession of flowers and scent throughout the year. They are well suited to a variety of garden settings and are ideal subjects for a small garden. Most daphnes have attractive evergreen or semi-evergreen foliage, some of them having good variegation. We invite you to browse through our list of species and cultivars. Remember that all daphnes listed are subject to availability so please contact us by email or telephone before visiting especially if you are looking for specific varieties. Our plants are lovingly tended and watered by hand and expert advice is freely available.
