Malus and the Magic of Autumn

Chris Sanders will give an illustrated lecture on Malus cultivars and their use in the garden. Chris is a plantsman, lecturer and member of the RHS Plant Selection Committee. His knowledge and expertise in this subject makes this a treat not to be missed.

In the afternoon there will be a guided tour of John’s Garden. The nursery owner John Massey is a Malus enthusiast and this is a wonderful opportunity to view his collection. The garden is truly spectacular in September with fine displays of salvias and other late-flowering herbaceous plants, grasses and cyclamen against a backdrop of superb autumn colour.

There will also be the opportunity to purchase specially selected Malus varieties that are exclusive to this event (subject to availability).

• Afternoon session 2.30pm-3.30pm.
• Essential to book in advance – (Seating is strictly limited)
