Ashwood Nurseries is situated in the the South Staffordshire countryside on the Staffordshire / West Midlands / Worcestershire County boundaries just to the west of Kingswinford, in the English West Midlands. As we are located in the Staffordshire countryside we are unfortunately not on a direct bus route, the closest bus stops located either in Kingswinford itself or Wall Heath, requiring either a taxi or a mile or so walk to the nursey, the closest main line raiway stations are Wolverhampton or Stourbridge Junction. From 'The Southwest' via M5 Northbound- Leave at Junction 6 (A449)
- Follow A449 northbound towards Kidderminster.
- Follow A449 through Kidderminster and continue on heading toward Wolverhampton.
- At Stourton (the junction of the A449 / A458) continue north on the A449 for about a mile and half.
- Ashwood Lower Lane will be the next turning on the left (signposted to Ashwood, Highgate Common and Bobbington).
- Ashwood Nurseries is located about one half mile down this lane, on the left hand side just past Ashwood Water Pumping Station.
From 'The West' Bridgnorth or Telford Direction- From Bridgnorth take the A458 heading for Stourbridge.
- Join with the A449 at Stourton and turn left heading for Wolverhampton.
- Ashwood Lower Lane will be the next turning on the left (signposted to Ashwood, Highgate Common and Bobbington).
- Ashwood Nurseries is located about one half mile down this lane, on the left hand side just past Ashwood Water Pumping Station.
From 'The South' and 'The South East' via M40 Northbound- After joining the M40 continue northbound to connect with the M42
- Travel west (taking the signs for M5) and join with the M5 northbound.
- Continue on the M5 northbound to exit at junction 4
- Follow the signs for A491 directly into the centre of Stourbridge.
- Enter Stourbridge and follow the ring-road signs for Bridgnorth (A458)
- Follow the A458 to the junction of the A458 / A449 at Stourton.
- Turn right on to the A449 heading for Wolverhampton.
- Continue north on the A449 for about a mile and half.
- Ashwood Lower Lane will be the next turning on the left (signposted to Ashwood, Highgate Common and Bobbington).
- Ashwood Nurseries is located about one half mile down this lane, on the left hand side just past Ashwood Water Pumping Station.
From 'The East' and 'The North East'A journey through the Birmingham conurbation is not a very direct or easy option, therefore it may be advantageous to join with the M42 and follow this around the southern perimeter of Birmingham to join up with the M5 northbound as per the directions below. - Continue on the M5 northbound to exit at junction 4
- Follow the signs for A491 directly into the centre of Stourbridge.
- Enter Stourbridge and follow the ring-road signs for Bridgnorth (A458)
- Follow the A458 to the junction of the A458 / A449 at Stourton.
- Turn right on to the A449 heading for Wolverhampton.
- Continue north on the A449 for about a mile and half.
- Ashwood Lower Lane will be the next turning on the left (signposted to Ashwood, Highgate Common and Bobbington).
- Ashwood Nurseries is located about one half mile down this lane, on the left hand side just past Ashwood Water Pumping Station.
From 'The North' via M6 Southbound
- Leave at junction 13 Stafford turn-off.
- Follow the A449 south heading toward Wolverhampton.
- Take the Wolverhampton Ring Road and follow the signs for Kidderminster (A449).
- Head out of Wolverhampton on the A449 and after about six miles you will pass through a small village called Himley (passing through two sets of traffic lights) and then under a railway bridge.
- ( Now this is where people usually get lost ! ) Keep travelling on the A449, taking the signs at the next roundabout for Kidderminster (don't take the signs for Kingswinford on the A491).
- Continue on the A449 through Wall Heath and head for Kidderminster. Exit Wall Heath on the A449 and continue on for about 1 mile.
- After Roberts Farm Shop (on left-hand side) there will be a turning off to the right which is signposted to 'Ashwood'. This will be Doctor's Lane.
- Follow this lane to the very end and at the 'T' junction turn left into 'Ashwood Lower Lane'.
- The nursery will then be only a short distance on the right.
