Welcome
Ashwood is a traditional working nursery ...... We produce a large proportion of the plants which you will find on sale in our beautifully maintained sales areas. Here you will find an impressive selection of shrubs, trees, fruit, roses, climbing plants, herbaceous perennials, alpines and heathers. We feel sure that you will also be tempted by our extensive range of indoor plants, seasonal bedding and patio plants.
We are proud of our speciality crops ...... We are internationally famous for our speciality crops raised here on the nursery. Our hellebores are regarded as being some of the finest strains ever produced, attracting gardeners and growers from all over the world. Hardy cyclamen, lewisias, hepaticas, primula auricula and anemone pavonina are important crops, both for seed and plant production. We also offer a mouthwatering selection of conifers, hydrangeas, camellias, daphnes, salvias and snowdrops.
Our customers tell us we are a unique and very special nursery ...... We are privately owned and that is reflected in our individual style and attention to detail. The 'personal touch' is very important to us and we always aim to provide a friendly service. Our dedicated team have a wealth of experience between them and their advice is always freely available.
We hope that you will be tempted to visit us ...... We are situated in the lovely South Staffordshire countryside, adjacent to the Staffordshire and Worcestershire canal. Many gardeners come here for the day and don't want to leave! You can browse through our outside sales areas, wander through the greenhouses, and find inspiration in our stunning show garden. There's a well-stocked garden shop, a quality gift shop and a delightful tea room. Everything in fact, to make a perfect day out.
